Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative agriculture is a conservation and rehabilitation approach to farming. Regenerative farming practises promote soil health, which in turn benefits farmers, consumers, environmental health, and the climate.

Key Objectives
- Build the capacity of Vietnamese farmers on regenerative farming practices for health and climate
- Improve soil health through training on soil health principles and soil biology management
Project Outcomes
- Technical assistance from the US Department of Agriculture
- Establishment of biology laboratory with sampling and testing equipment
- Conducting 2 trainings and demonstrations on organic soil building and conservation
- Supporting 5 pilot farmers
- Publishing training materials for farmers and stake holders
Why Regenerative Agriculture?
Regenerative farming nurtures and restores soil health, bringing a wide range of benefits to the environment and communities alike:
- For Climate - Healthy soil sequesters CO2 and adapts to drought conditions.
- For Human Health - Healthy soil reduces the chemical inputs required, lowering health risks for producers and humans.
- For the Economy - Less inputs = higher profits for farmers.
- For Environmental Health - Reduces soil erosion and the siltation and pollution of rivers and costal habitats.

After this successful pilot phase, Keep Vietnam Clean is seeking donations to help us train more farmers and bring sustainable agricultural practises to more regions within Hanoi province and Vietnam.
