Keep Vietnam Clean and Daibiru CSB: CSR & ESG Partnership for a Sustainable Future with ‘Hàng Cây Đoàn Kết’ Social Project in Huong Tram Village

On November 1, 2025, Keep Vietnam Clean, in collaboration with Daibiru CSB Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Daibiru Corporation from Japan, joined hands with local residents of Huong Tram Village, Thu Lam Commune, Hanoi, to donate and plant 100 Madagascar almond trees. This activity is part of the “CLEAN-UP, GREEN-UP OUR CITIES” initiative, a campaign launched by Keep Vietnam Clean to bring more trees and cleaner streets to communities across Vietnam.

“Hàng Cây Đoàn Kết” – A symbol of community unity

At Huong Tram Village, 100 Madagascar almond trees were named “Hàng Cây Đoàn Kết”, symbolizing the collaboration between businesses, social organizations, and local communities in creating greener living spaces. This activity was also part of Vietnam’s “One Billion Trees Program (2021–2025)” initiated by the Prime Minister, encouraging nationwide efforts to restore and expand green coverage across the country..

This was also the second time Keep Vietnam Clean returned to Huong Tram, where the first rows of trees planted during June this year have already begun to grow and shade the village, bringing joy and pride to local residents.

Under the coordination of Mr. Nguyen Ba Chieu – Head of Huong Tram Village, dozens of villagers came together in just one day to plant 100 trees. The event went beyond tree planting; it represented a shift in community awareness, as residents transformed former vegetable plots into long-term green spaces that foster sustainability and harmony with nature.

Zero-Waste Workshop with Daibiru CSB Employees: Spreading Green Habits at Work

Alongside the tree planting activity, Keep Vietnam Clean also hosted a “Zero-Waste – Living Green Without Trash” training session for employees of Daibiru CSB Co., Ltd.

Presented by Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Diep from Keep Vietnam Clean, the training session provided participants with insights into Vietnam’s current waste challenges and the harmful impacts of plastic waste on the environment and human health. It also inspired attendees to adopt greener, more sustainable consumption habits within their workplace.

Through engaging presentations and an interactive “Waste Sorting Game”, Daibiru employees explored and practiced the 5R model (Refuse – Reduce – Reuse – Recycle – Rot) a core principle of the Zero-Waste lifestyle.

The session not only raised environmental awareness but also helped promote a sustainable office culture, aligning perfectly with the CSR spirit that Keep Vietnam Clean and Daibiru CSB have been jointly fostering: “Less Waste – Greener Living – Sustainable Impact.” 🌱

Commitment in Action: Monitoring, Nurturing, and Growing a Greener Future

Following the tree planting, Keep Vietnam Clean will conduct biannual (every six months) monitoring visits to assess the growth and health of the trees, ensuring that every sapling truly takes root and becomes a lasting symbol of unity and sustainability in the community.

Meanwhile, members of the Thu Lam Commune Farmers’ Association and Women’s Union have pledged to continue caring for and protecting the trees with a strong determination to “protect the trees at all costs.”

These trees will not only provide shade but also stand as a living testament to the shared effort of the Huong Tram community in protecting and nurturing the environment.

Keep Vietnam Clean would like to express sincere gratitude to Daibiru CSB Co., Ltd. – a trusted partner who has continued to accompany the organization in spreading the message: “Bringing Green Back to Every Street and Village.”
