KVC BENEFIT RECEPTION – EMBRACE GREEN JOURNEY: REFLECT AND CONTINUE THE COLLECTIVE JOURNEY TOWARD A GREENER VIETNAM
On January 16, 2026, Keep Vietnam Clean (KVC) successfully hosted the KVC Benefit Reception – Embrace Green Journey at Diamond Westlake Suites, as part of the Kitchen God Day 2026 campaign. The fundraising event reaffirmed the organization’s long-term commitment to environmental protection, sustainable Tet practices, and community engagement in Vietnam.
Strengthening Partnerships Through a Shared Commitment
To mobilize resources for upcoming environmental activities, KVC organized a silent auction with the participation of 40 long-standing partners and sponsors who have accompanied the organization for nearly a decade.
The event raised VND 30,930,003, which will be allocated to:
- Clean-up activities in Bo De Ward under the Kitchen God Day 2026 campaign
- A tree-planting initiative in Thuy Loi Village
- Ongoing community-based environmental awareness programs
Beyond fundraising, the reception served as a strategic networking platform for partners committed to sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Vietnam.

Keep Vietnam Clean: Nearly a Decade of Community and Environmental Engagement
During the event, Ms. Bui Ngoc Diep, Director of Keep Vietnam Clean, shared key milestones from the organization’s nearly 10-year journey of development. From its early days as a volunteer group conducting environmental clean-up activities in Hanoi, KVC has steadily expanded its scale, professionalized its operations, and officially became a social enterprise in 2016.
Beyond clean-up activities, Keep Vietnam Clean has developed long-term initiatives and campaigns such as “Clean up, Green up our cities”, promoting tree-planting in residential areas, schools, and surrounding communities; and “Kitchen God Day”, an annual campaign raising public awareness about sustainable ritual practices, particularly reducing the release of plastic bags and the disposal of incense ash into rivers and lakes during Lunar New Year celebrations.
After nearly a decade of operation, Keep Vietnam Clean has built a network of more than 6,000 volunteers, organized 116 environmental activities, and collected and sorted nearly 333 tons of waste across multiple localities. These achievements represent not only important milestones but also a strong foundation for KVC to continue implementing impactful environmental projects and community awareness programs in the years ahead.
