Keep Vietnam Clean and Local Volunteers Join Forces for World Environment Day in Bo Vo Area
In response to World Environment Day, Keep Vietnam Clean had the opportunity to accompany the environmental organizers to participate in a series of events on June, 30 at the Bo Vo Area.
The ceremony took place in a comfortable atmosphere with the participation of representatives of the Hanoi Natural Resources and Environment Department, the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem district, the People’s Committee of Chuong Duong Ward, local people, and more than 50 enthusiastic volunteers in Hanoi.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem district acknowledged the positive contributions and encouraged social organizations to continue implementing environmental protection projects in the area.
At the end of the ceremony was a series of meaningful activities such as planting trees and cleaning up the area around Bo Vo area. Besides, the activity of collecting garbage for gifts also received a lot of attention and enthusiastic response from local people.
