HANPECA – Citizen Science
Regenerative agriculture is a conservation and rehabilitation approach to farming. Regenerative farming practises promote soil health, which in turn benefits farmers, consumers, environmental health, and the climate.

Project Outcomes
- Established 4 Local Environment Teams (LETs) in 4 wards: Yen Hoa (Cau Giay district), Chuong Duong Do (Hoan Kiem district), Ngoc Ha (Ba Dinh district), and Co Loa (Dong Anh district).
- Trained 25 volunteers from the 4 LETs on how to classify waste, observe waste sites, and use the Anecdata platform to record their observations.
- Customized the Vietnamese content of Anecdata, a citizen science-based platform, to collect observations on solid waste and related information about specific locations in Hanoi.
- Collected observations at 184 points across 2 wards (Lieu Giai and Yen Hoa).
