Located along the banks of the Red River, Hong Ha Ward has undergone significant transformation in recent years. Once an area facing considerable environmental pressures, it is gradually becoming home to greener public spaces that serve the recreational, social, and community needs of local residents.
However, like many public spaces in urban areas, waste accumulation and littering remain challenges in some areas surrounding the park, affecting the landscape, environmental quality, and daily life of the community. This highlights an important reality: protecting the environment goes beyond infrastructure investment or urban beautification, it also requires changes in awareness and everyday habits from each individual.
Recognizing these challenges, Keep Vietnam Clean, in collaboration with VietPlastic Global, is organizing an environmental cleanup activity at Phuc Tan Forest Park to promote responsible environmental practices and encourage meaningful community action.

‘CLEAN UP, GREEN UP OUR CITIES’ INITIATIVE – PROTECTING OUR LIVING SPACE THROUGH MEANINGFUL ACTIONS
The cleanup activity at Phuc Tan Forest Park is part of the “CLEAN UP, GREEN UP OUR CITIES” initiative implemented by Keep Vietnam Clean. The initiative aims to improve environmental quality in residential communities through practical actions such as waste cleanup, community engagement, and raising awareness about environmental responsibility.
By working alongside local residents, volunteer groups, and corporate partners, Keep Vietnam Clean hopes to contribute to cleaner and more welcoming public spaces while encouraging positive habits around responsible waste reduction and management.
